Executive Managemenent

Christian Wentzel

President and CEO

Christian is the Co-Founder and President of Solar Provider as well as the founder of Ontario Solar Provider and the managing Director at Enlux Solar, completing more than 50 large-scale projects in the US, Canada and Europe. He has completed more than $5 billion of investments in the energy industry. Prior to founding Solar Provider, Christian worked for Goldman Sachs in the Power Group and for Credit Suisse in Energy M&A, both in New York. Christian is a CFA charter holder and has a MBA from the London Business School and a Bachelors in Economics from Columbia University in New York.

Sebastian Seyfarth

COO

Sebastian is the COO of Solar Provider as well as the co-founder and COO of Solea SP. Sebastian has experience with more than 45,000 kW of solar capacity.

Prior to joining Solar Provider, Sebastian worked as Managing Director for MEP Solar. His career highlights include due diligence and acquisition of project rights for 10,000 kW in Italy and construction and financing of 23,200 kW in Spain. Sebastian has a Bachelor in Business Administration from LMU.

Carl-Niklas Wentzel

VP European Operations

Carl-Niklas Wentzel is the VP of European Operations for Solar Provider and the co-founder of UK Solar Provider. After studying business at the University of Vienna, specializing in project management and business intelligence, Niklas joined the family business and managed the departments of real estate and Solar Energy. Niklas has attended University of Vienna and has various PV course certificates from SMA, Delta solar and the DGS.

Thomas Kreutzer

CTO

Thomas is the Chief Technical Officer of Solar Provider and the lead Project Manager at KB Installations. He has installed more than 10 MW of rooftop solar projects and personally invested in 75 kW of solar capacity. Prior to joining Solar Provider, Thomas was project manager for SunTec Germany. Tom holds a Business Administration Degree from Bergisch College as well as PV Certificates from SMA, Fronius, BP Solar and Hager Breaker.

Steve Kiesling

VP Business Development

Steve Kiesling manages business development for Solar Provider Group in California. Previously, he worked for Condera Advisors, where he was responsible for investment research, due diligence, and fund raising. Steve holds a BSM in Finance and Economics from Tulane University and an MBA from UCLA's Anderson School of Management.

Tom Pickard

Executive Vice President

An experienced veteran in construction and business development, Tom Pickard joined the Solar Provider Group team to manage the Los Angeles office. Prior to joining Solar Provider, Mr. Pickard was Project Manager at a L.A. solar company focusing on commercial projects. Before clean energy, Mr. Pickard owned and managed a design build construction company specializing in the recreation industry. As Sales and Operations Manager, Mr. Pickard led the company to recognition by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing private companies in the US. Mr. Pickard holds recognition from NABCEP in basic photovoltaic and solar thermal energy systems, as well as LEED GP. He's been a licensed contractor in California since 1999 and holds a BA from Brown University.
