Developed between 2022-2023, Fort Fairfield Community Solar has a lifespan of +30 years to deliver clean, consistent, and sustainably generated power to local residents and businesses of Presque Isle. Based on average power consumption figures in Maine, Fort Fairfield has the output to power 560 homes and businesses annually. Customers of Versant Power can take advantage of this solar project and enjoy discounted electricity by subscribing to a portion of energy generated by it at a rate below the standard utility rate.
