Christian is the co-founder and chairman of Solar Provider Group. Coming from a fifth-generation family farming business, Christian has set out to harvest the sun’s energy in a slightly different way. In his career in the solar industry, Christian’s companies have built and interconnected more than 300 large-scale projects in the US, Canada, and Europe. Prior to founding SPG, Christian has arranged or participated in more than $5 billion of energy investments in the US. He has worked for Goldman Sachs’ Power Group, Traxis Partners, a $3 billion investment fund, and Credit Suisse’s Energy M&A division, all located in New York City. Christian is a CFA charter holder and has an MBA from the London Business School, as well as a BA in Economics from Columbia University.
Sebastian is the co-founder and CEO of Solar Provider Group. Throughout his career he has been involved in the construction and development of solar PV facilities totalling more than 100MW of installed generation capacity. With SPG, Sebastian has positioned the company to construct approximately 50+ MW of ground mount and 20+ MW of rooftop projects in 2016 throughout Canada, US and UK. Sebastian has a Bachelor in Business Administration from the Munich School of Management.
Steve Kiesling serves as Chief Financial Officer of Solar Provider Group. Holding a broad range of experience, Steve excels in understanding client, company, and situational needs to create effective solutions. Prior to his current role, Steve served as Executive Vice President for Sunstarter Solar, spearheading its development in the residential solar space. Earlier in his career, he worked as an analyst covering investments in energy, natural gas, private equity, and public equities. Steve graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Finance and Economics from Tulane University and graduated with an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Michal serves as the Project Development Manager, leading the development of renewable energy projects that globally total 200+ MW capacity. Michal has managed the development of project portfolios across multiple markets in the US, Canada, as well as Europe. With over 10 years experience in project management, environmental policy and regulatory compliance, Michal has been directly responsible for renewable energy market research, as well as for the implementation of solar photovoltaic projects from site feasibility studies through to permits and project/portfolio delivery. Michal holds a MES in Environmental Policy from Wageningen University, the Netherlands, with a minor in Environmental Planning and Management.
Anjo has been a team member from the very beginning in the Germanmarket. As a business development consultant, he has been responsible for acquiring new/ promising parcels and projects since 2020. With a dual bachelor's degree in 'International Sports Management' at Decathlon and two years of business development experience as a headhunter in the IT industry in Berlin, he turns his passion for communication with different people and landowners into a profession.
